I have used many different estimating programs, including some of the most sophisticated and expensive ones. Active Takeoff has been a breath of fresh air. This estimating program has exceeded my expectations. Two Thumbs Up!
This is by far the easiest software to use and I really like the way that you can personalize just about everything that you would want to. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a takeoff software. Customer Service is always quick to respond and very helpful. I could not ask for anything more.
Our firm actively tested and demo'd several of the competitors offerings. We continued to go back to Active Takeoff since it was easy to use. After chewing up a couple hours on training with others, we felt this product better suited our needs. We were able to install and get to work right away. On top of this, the price point has the competition beat ---- by a lot.
I have tested a few other on-screen measuring products and I find Active Takeoff to be more user friendly with an easier learning curve than most. Customer service is fantastic. Jiraud always gets back very promptly when I have any queries, and is happy to assist in any way.

I demoed a variety of take-off packages and for the price this one seemed to be the best value for what we were looking for. Overall I'm very happy with the program so far, and when I do have a quesiton or concern, the responsiveness of the customer service has been fantastic.
